Trent University is one of the top undergraduate universities in Canada. It is a public liberal arts university located in Peterborough, Ontario, also having a satellite campus in Oshawa, that serves the Regional Municipality of Durham. Trent University provides residence and off-campus housing options to its undergraduate and graduate students in Oshawa and Peterborough. The Trent residences act as a home base and supportive community for the students who choose to live on campus. The Peterborough residences have traditional and suite-style options with a great learning environment. The academic and residential buildings at the Durham campus provide new spaces for students to learn, socialize and engage in different activities.

Trent University's main campus is located in Peterborough, Ontario, and is known for its natural beauty, with a large portion of the campus consisting of forested areas and waterways. Trent also has a satellite campus in Oshawa. Both campuses have different colleges and all the colleges have their own residence and dining halls, along with student government bodies taking care of the interests of the students at each college.

The nearest airport to the University is the Toronto Airport (YYZ), which is around 130 km away from the main campus.
