Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) was founded in 1981 by the British-Columbian government and offers over 140 programs across five campuses in Vancouver, where more than 20,000 students study annually. Around 6,000 international students get admission to KPU every year.
96% of students at the University are employed after graduation and international full-time tuition starts at only $6,570. All of KPU's five campuses are located in convenient locations to make your life as comfortable as possible.
KPU provides experiential learning through a well-researched curriculum and practical training. Besides regular courses, it offers online distance learning programs in various disciplines. Gaining admission to the University can be competitive as access is provided to selected students based on their academic and extracurricular achievements.
International students can sign up for the orientation through the online portal of KPU. The orientation program informs them about the campus, learning resources, and student services. KPU does not offer on-campus residences to students. However, there are several student accommodations and homestays available in Metro Vancouver. International students must contact First Choice International Placement to check homestay availability and host families.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University is located in the Metro Vancouver region of British Columbia. Its three main campuses are located in Surrey, Richmond, and Langley. As accommodation facilities are unavailable at KPU, the students need to book a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel. Hotels are usually located within a radius of 1 mile from the airport.
Vancouver is a diverse city in Canada from both a cultural and linguistic point of view. Students can engage in cultural events as well as adventure sports and shopping. Several public bus transit services are available to travel to and from KPU campuses.
