Published 16 November 2022

Six Canadian universities feature prominently in the 2022 TImes Higher Education Reputation rankings.

The Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings are based on the world’s largest invitation-only opinion survey of leading academics, asking scholars to name universities that they believe are the best for research and teaching, based on their own experience.

For the 2022 edition, there were 29,000 respondents and to rank within the top 200 is a huge achievement for any higher education institute in the world.

Canadian institutions featuring in the top 150 include the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, University of Alberta, University of Montreal and University of Waterloo.
