Services for International Students

In-person international student advice provides academic guidance and consultation to international students with any concerns. In addition, health services are offered to students who need assistance regarding health assessments and treatments.

At the Okanagan UBC campus, students can choose from single-connected rooms, single traditional rooms, four-bedroom shared suites, studio suites, and one-bedroom suites. Besides these options, the Vancouver campus also offers nano and six-bedroom suites.

International students can choose accommodation options on campus and off campus. On-campus areas provide access to dining services, WIFI, safety and security, and mail services. They also get access to laundry, health services, and parking spaces in these locations.

About Location

The Vancouver campus is located just 30 minutes away from downtown Vancouver and provides students with scenic locations and natural vistas such as snow-capped mountains. The Okanagan campus, based in Kelowna, is more about modern amenities and an intimate learning experience.

Students have access to museums, farms, Nitobe Memorial Garden, and other educational and research centres on both campuses. Students can choose from SkyTrain, transit buses, shared cars, and cycles to move around the campus. Free shuttles are provided to students with mobility issues to get around the campus.
