The University of Toronto is one of just six global universities to rank within the global top 30 for 11 subjects in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Subject Rankings 2024.
U of T rose to 10th in psychology, 9th in education, 13th in arts and humanities, 24th in social science and business and economics and 25th in engineering. Toronto also ranked in the global top 30 in clinical and health (9th), law (21st), computer science (25th), physical sciences (25th) and life sciences (27th).
It is esteemed company for the best university in Canada, with the only other universities to achieve this accolade being the University of California, Berkeley, University of Cambridge, Harvard University, Stanford University, and the University of California, Los Angeles.
