NIC's "ConNICt" program consists of live virtual sessions, pre-recorded videos and personalised activities, helping students prepare for their studies. All four campuses offer international standard amenities with students experiencing adventure and quality education.
NIC hosts international students in collaboration with the Canada Homestay Network and provides students with an on-campus homestay experience. Students can also choose from various housing options around campus, including rental apartments and shared rooms.
North Island College is home to four campuses in Comox Valley, Port Alberni, Campbell River and Mixlaquila Port Hardy. All offer outdoor adventure, cuisine, arts, culture, heritage, and natural beauty. Urban amenities include shopping and healthcare facilities, and sports complexes.
The Ucluelet Learning Centre on the west coast of Vancouver Island provides classroom and technology-based access to health care, business, university transfer, and adult introductory education courses.
Comox Valley Airport and Campbell River Airport are the closest airports to the NIC campus. There are various ways to access the campus, including by vehicle or transit. Bike shelters are available for cyclists, and a network of paths through the wooded areas of the campus connects nearby residential areas.
