One of the top research universities in Canada, George Brown College (GBC) is situated in downtown Toronto, one of the most significant economic centres in North America and home to many key Canadian enterprises.

Over 30,000 students worldwide can choose from 160 full-time and part-time courses and programmes at this institution. Courses are available in various subject areas, including business management, nursing, finance, and many others. 92% of employers are very satisfied with the George Brown graduates they’ve hired (Key Performance Indicators, Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development, 2016) and George Brown College has one of the most diverse international student populations in Canada.

George Brown College was founded in 1967 and is named after George Brown, a Father of Confederation and a 19th-century Scottish-born Canadian politician and newspaper proprietor.

George Brown College offers on-campus as well as off-campus accommodation.

The College provides housing for its students close to St. James Campus, the Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences at Waterfront Campus, and Casa Loma Campus, both of which can be reached via public transportation in less than 40 minutes. The rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, cable TV on a flat screen, a phone with local calls, and other utilities. Students might choose to pay in instalments because there are payment choices available.

For off-campus accommodation, students can choose between single and shared rooms in dormitories.

George Brown College has three campuses. The Casa Loma Campus is the main campus, whilst the St. James Campus is home to the faculty of Financial Services, Creative Arts, Business Administration, and Centre for Hospitality as well as Culinary Arts. The Waterfront Campus is the newest site and houses the Centre for Health Sciences, which debuted in 2012.
